Ciao da Roma!

Brief post... I'm in Rome until this afternoon. It's been a busy month, and I haven't been as successful as I like about having access to emails and to be online. In Cossato I use the community computer but I have to have someone with me to enter the password and log out, so it's not so easy to spend hours checking emails and responding to them. My inbox is growing larger and larger... only responding to the few that I can!

I have one week left to finish up my projects in Cossato for the year, and to get things packed up and ready to go for the summer. Had a positive encounter on Friday night with someone who might be able to help fund my projects. Elena asked for a proposal right away so they can make sure I get funding for the projects. Met a deaf American woman in Siena, we clicked in many ways, and we are thinking about collaborating on some other projects, which is very promising! New doors are opening up everywhere and I'm almost dazed by all the opportunities. I keep pinching myself to see if I am imagining things or not.

Next week will head to Czech Republic for a month. It should be nice to be in a different environment in "vacation mode."

Talk more soon!
