Just letting you know I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee and I realized yet another mistake... Firenze... nope... Venezia. SORRYYYYY!!!!!!

To clarify for once and for all...

The professor of LIS in Venezia made a proposal to his colleagues at a meeting recently that they add an instructor of ASL to the department, with the goal of providing a different sign language model. I would provide the model for the students of LIS as a way of showing them the difference in sign languages in different countries. (But also ASL is becoming a more universally known sign language among deaf people like English is the universal language for communication for hearing people.) He said they were all dumbstruck for a moment, but then all agreed that it's a good idea. So it's up to the upper echelons of the university to make it happen or not.
