Interesting Reading

Today I am home sick with the cold that's running rampant at the school. I slept all day but am feeling worse. Hoping that the weekend of REST and nothing but rest will help, because I can't miss work next week.

Was really bored, catching up on friends' blogs, etc etc... and took a look at the Guardian online website. I love reading the Guardian when I can come across a copy - you'd never find anything like it in American newstands... very different points of views. Anyway, continuing to be bored, I clicked on a link, "Ethical Living" and came across a page of editorials discussing ethicality of different issues... i.e. using matches v. using a lighter, using disposable diapers v. washables, owning a dog, etc etc. The editorials are very interesting, definitely worth reading when you have some time. Not only did I read about points of view, but learned some interesting facts as well (i.e. It takes 1 tree to make 1 million matches. hmm!).
